THE ACE BAR BUS
On the streets of Bangkok, mobile bars converted from VW buses are ubiquitous. It was during a research trip to Thailand that the team at Ace Eat Serve was inspired to bring the concept back to Denver. Once home, the search for a VW bus was on.
Enter Penny- an ordinary, 1978, cow-printed Volkswagen Bus transformed into the Ace Bar Bus. Tasked with bringing Ace's noted bar program on the road, Penny's roof opens up to reveal a full-functioning, stainless steel bar suitable for two professional bartenders to serve beer, wine, and craft cocktails. She's even been outfitted with a top notch sound system to make her the perfect all-in-one party solution.
Penny is available for private parties and events and, when she's not out on the road, can be found parked on the Ace patio. Check her out during your next visit to Ace!
HOW IT WORKS
The Ace Bar Bus is available for private parties and events in and around Denver, as well as most surrounding areas. Contact us with all the details of the event (see form below). If your date is available we will work together to determine your menu. Your package will include all mixers, garnishes, ice, drinkware, and staffing. Unfortunately, it is not legal for bartending services to provide the alcohol, but we will supply you with a shopping list to give to your favorite liquor store. (Some liquor stores deliver, check with your store.) From there, we will meet you and the alcohol at your event and stock the bar for service. At the end of the event we will pack up and go, leaving any extra alcohol with you to keep or return to your liquor store (if they will accept unopened bottles for return). That's it- pretty easy, right?
